I felt very safe during all my time in Iran. People are warm-hearted, generous and helpful. I didn’t encounter any crime or violence and generally trusted people. A guest is treated as a king and a there’s a huge sense of respect and goodwill. Busy traffic is the only hassle.
It’s safe, go and experience one of the most hospitable countries. Iranians love visitors and make you feel very welcome.

Someone feeling insecure about travelling to Iran?  Don’t be!!  The people are amazing, so helpful and will actually go out of their way to help you to their best of their ability without expecting anything in return.  Both Jeff and I had our reservations about travelling to Iran – probably due to an excessive negative influence by the media, but the media could not be more incorrect.  Take the plunge, experience and enjoy this beautiful country while it is still in its early days of tourism!!
