Kia ora! Salam !
Hello to all our past and new subscribers. We are delighted to announce the resume of our international travel tours as of September 2022. This is the time we have all been waiting for almost two years. National and most international borders have finally opened up and travelling has begun. It is great to see more people jumping on the bandwagon of travel fun and booking international flights and tours like before the pandemic. Mehdi, after spending a long holiday back in his motherland, Iran, has finally returned back to New Zealand. He has put together a great range of small and private tours of 5-6 people, resuming as of September. Some of the exotic destinations include Iran, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and many more. All of our tours follow Covid protocols in place at each country and destination of travel. Our staff are fully vaccinated and follow hygiene guidelines, masking and hand sanitising when required.

A snippet of Mehdi’s travels
Mehdi left New Zealand to Iran in July 2021, to visit his mum and family members in his home-town of Mashhad, north east of Iran. He decided to stay back for a lot longer than expected and explored parts of Iran, from north to south, the Caspian sea to Persian gulf. If you, like us at NZ Travel and Tour were part of his WhatsApp group, you definitely know what I’m about to elaborate on here. Mehdi travelled to Tehran to visit friends and explored some amazing dining spots with traditional mouthwatering food that made us very hungry when we received his photos! Then he travelled around the Caspian sea region for business and ended up spending more time in the luscious province of Rasht. Some of the world’s best and most expensive Beluga Caviar are produced in this region in Iran. Beluga Sturgeon fish is another local fish found in the Caspian sea and widely consumed in northern region of Iran. He travelled all along the country and ended up in southern region of the famous Persian Gulf, Qeshm island, which is the biggest island in the gulf. The timing could have been better as his hometown and the northern parts of the country were experiencing a very cold winter. The pleasant high temperatures and warmth of the sun in the southern region of the country during cooler months make this region appealing for travellers from all over the country.
